Grounds Maintenance Team Member

City FM Australia provide world leading Facilities Management, Engineering and Energy solutions which ensure safe, successful and sustainable outcomes for our partner - Bunnings Warehouse.
 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and performing Grounds Maintenance Activities and landscaping services to a number of large sites within the retail sector. The successful candidate will be provided with a company vehicle & trailer, company phone and all tools to assist you in providing superior customer service.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Perform Landscaping services to a number of sites including mowing, edging, sweeping/blowing, pruning, hedge / tree trimming, weed control & turf maintenance
• Garden refreshing – woodchip, mulch, new plants etc.
• External pressure washing of buildings as required
• Removal of all garden waste and transfer to authorized waste transfer station
• Ensure all required job updates are provided
• Follow a proactive model for Groundskeeping maintenance and repairs

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Previous experience in Grounds /Landscaping maintenance services
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record coupled with experience driving with a trailer – Mandatory
• Experience using a ride on mower – advantageous
• Ability to multi-task; work with limited supervision and make sound decisions quickly
• High standard of integrity and reliability
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service skills
• Familiarity with interfacing with technology (iPhone) used to systemically monitor location / jobs

This role is based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs including Ringwood, Boxhill, Springvale and Dandenong area

This position is outdoors and requires ability to work in any and all-weather conditions.
