What you will be doing:

Our Grafton Nursery is now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery workers interested in working in our production nursery. While the role is repetitive, it is an opportunity to be part of a rewarding initiative and future of our plantations. As a Nursery Worker you will be: 

  • Providing full support to the Nursery Manager while carrying out specific duties using your horticulture expertise for the delivery of cost-effective production stock.
  • Providing a reliable and consistent supply for external customers
  • Performing seedling production activities
  • Weeding and stock maintenance
  • Grading and dispatching stock



We would love you to have:


  • You enjoy working outdoors in all year-round conditions, be reliable and motivated. Ideally you possess the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience working in a production nursery or nursery environment
  • Qualifications in Horticulture will be looked upon favorably
  • Willingness to undertake shift work which includes weekend work
  • Demonstrated experience working autonomously and in teams
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good compute literacy and ability to use Microsoft packages
  • Willingness to undertake Forklift training and/or accreditation
  • Current Driver’s Licence

Depending on the role the preferred candidate will be required to satisfactorily complete a Drug and Alcohol screening, and/or Medical Assessment and/or a Fire Task Based Assessment (TBA).

For roles requiring, the successful candidate(s) must be fit to perform firefighting activities, which may include working in smoky conditions and the ability to be physically active in uneven or steep terrain. Offers of employment for these roles are subject to the results of the pre-employment Medical Assessment which may preclude candidates high risk conditions from being able to meet the inherent requirements of the role.
