About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Canberra based Group Regional Manager to help us continue to drive the success of our 21 Canberra and surrounding southern regional NSW stores.

This is a role well suited to an experienced retailer; someone who thrives in a team environment and has a very strong customer-service orientation. Someone who is a very good communicator, hardworking, well organised and would like to take their retail career to a new level. Leadership skills come naturally to you and nurturing talent is a key to your current success.

Being a privately owned and family run company based in Summer Hill in Sydney, you'll work in a 'hands on' and supportive environment, where multi-tasking is the norm and continuous improvement is an integral part of our DNA.

What will you do? 

  • Drive the ongoing sales focus, service standards and success of stores within your region.
  • Develop a high-performance team culture throughout your stores.
  • Manage the full employment lifecycle of your team, while improving your existing human resource management skills. This includes the management of rosters and the optimisation of staffing levels.
  • Business planning with your Store Managers including the coaching and development of all team members.
  • Contribute to the development of training and development programs.
  • Ensure the maintenance of nationally aligned retail standards and promotional activity, including compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Work alongside like-minded multi-site retail leaders, sharing ideas and best practice.


What skills and experience do you need? 

  • Proven history of achieving beyond personal and store targets and KPI’s.
  • Outstanding leadership qualities and exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent people development, performance management and training skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly organised, deadline driven and proactive.
  • Strong computer literacy with a minimum of intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with an active 'hands on' approach and a 'can do' attitude.
  • High level of professionalism and work ethic.
